The audience for your show will be comprised of people you, or your sponsors have contacted.

Natasha's Bistro & Bar Venue

Our Venue: It's Your show!
We are an arts and entertainment restaurant which means we function solely as a restaurant all day long until 9:00PM when we open the space up as a venue for artists, musicians, and theaters. Our kitchen, however, stays open until 11 on weekends and 10 during the week so that audiences can come and eat, hang out and drink while they enjoy the local art scene. We have a broad bistro menu which includes everything from pizza and pastas to burgers and stir frys all moderately priced and a full bar. We encourage your audience to make reservations and come before 9:00 to get started.

How much money will I make?
When the performer plays for the door, the cover is set by YOU the artist. You keep up to 85% of the door and 100% of the CD sales. The house keeps 15% of the door or $30 whicherver is higher. For late night shows, which start at 11pm, the venue split is 25%

The amount of money made depends on the bands/artists ability to promote their show. We have many bands that play regularly that make great money. We seat over 100 and covers range from $7 to $12, even as high as $20.

We are a restaurant, dining hours are over by 9 pm, so there will be no one here for your show unless you bring them in. We are not hiring performers to entertain our guests as background music. If you are an artist on tour without local sponsorship then the chance of no audience is even greater.

This style of venue favors performers that have a well rehearsed show or concert style as opposed to those who play background music. Also for those performers that have a strong base in Lexington or those that have extensive local contacts to help promote their show. Please check out our events calendar to see our past performers.

We do promote our performers - Here's how:
As a service to you, we list your show and description on our website and send the same out as an email calendar of events to our subscribers list. Our list has over 7000 recipients having hosted performance now for three years. We also list our events weekly in several local publications. We will supply you with local radio and newspaper contacts so that you can give them your information separately if you like. It is important to use all the resources at your disposal such as your e-mail lists and website calendars and my space bulletins.

If you have posters to help with promoting your group, we would love to put some up around the bistro. If you are in need of a graphics artist to design posters, fliers and such, we have an artist for hire that works with many of our performers. He is a dark, secretive man, so his contact information is only available upon request and your sworn silence.

Collecting Covers:
You can designate someone at the front door to collect covers or as most performers do they let the servers add the cover to the diner’s bill (Most diners like the whole evening on one bill) Using this method your covers are counted by the cash register and recorded on the close out tape.

NOTE: sometimes late diners will be present just for dinner and not the performance we feed them with no cover if seats are available. So, during your performance, it is possible that diners will be in the restaurant that will not be charged a cover. Every attempt is made to seat them away from the performance allowing more tables for the show.

Sound System, Setting Up & Sound Checks:

We offer a listening room experience of a small intimate concert hall. The room is approximately 2000 sq ft and seats 140 for dinner and up to 175 for some shows using a mixture of chairs and table and chair seating. We do not sell standing room tickets.

The two QSC main speakers are flown to the right and left of stage center with 4 QSC delay speakers just 30 feet midway. The sound is lively, articulate and balanced for an intimate space.

Our sound system is open to use.

One of our sound engineers will be available to assist with set up, sound checks, and run the board during the show. If you have questions or special concerns please let us know asap and Terry or Thomas will get back to you.

We suggest you load in from 3-6pm, because there are no diners at that time. Sound check is between 5-6pm or between 8-9pm for small bands.

Eating and Drinking while you’re here:
We consider you a temporary employee and give performers the same benefits as we do our employees. All food and beverages are 50% off. (This includes wine and beer but does not include alcohol)

Our space:

  • Our house seats about 140 people at maximum.
  • Food service does not stop during musical performances, but does stop during theatre performances.
  • All performances begin at 9pm. Our kitchen closes at 10pm Mon-Thurs and 11pm Fri and Sat. We will continue to serve desserts and drinks until 11:00 if there is an audience. The bar will stay open until 12:00.

Please fill out the following form (and remember to hit submit at the bottom).
Kamilla or one of her minions will get back to you as soon as possible with booking possibilities.
