Lew Bowling

Bio
Lew Bowling is happy to return to The Balagula Theatre where he was last seen as the evil doctor in Death and the Maiden. Since then he’s played a lot of old men -- the suave “other man” in Moon over Buffalo, a white-bearded rabbi in Fiddler on the Roof, an old man without a beard but with Lauren Argo’s soul in Prelude to a Kiss, and a crotchety father-in-law in Enemy of the People. In addition, he made his ballet debut (NOT in tutu or toe shoes) in The Nutcracker and was set painter for SCAPA’s Beauty and the Beast (designed by his son, Danny). He and wife Vivian are currently making the rounds singing Israeli pop music.
