Monday Feb 8th @ 6pm Tagawa at Natasha's: Jazz Piano and Vibraphon solo
Tagawa at Natasha's: Jazz Piano and Vibraphon solo Join us for the smooth sounds of Jazz Pianist and composer Kokichi Tagawa. A night with Ko Tagawa...seems at first, like a traditional night of Jazz, of beautiful standards, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern... soft...evocative...a gentle Journey back to a simpler time... But, when he starts to close his eyes, the transformation begins, and you realize that subtly, so subtly that the terrain has changed, that the melody with all its familiarity is gone, and the gentle pianist has taken you to a place you've never been. He has, once again, drawn you in - and Its no longer Porter or Kern, but Tagawa - unleashed -
