Thursday Nov 11th @ 9pm The Acoustikats & Paws and Listen
The Acoustikats & Paws and Listen The Acoustikats are the University of Kentucky's only male a cappella group. Their mentor is Dr. Jefferson Johnson who oversees the musical direction of the group. The Acoustikats sing a variety of music which features many genres. They sing Billy Joel, Queen, Justin Timberlake, Jason Mraz, and more! They will be performing in Chicago at the American Choral Director's Convention in the 2011. The Acoustikats are constantly performing and bringing a cappella music to the Lexington area.
Paws and Listen is an a cappella group led by Dr. Lori Hetzel and are all female. They sing original arrangements of both current and older tunes by: The Chenille Sisters, Natasha Beddingfield, Imogen Heap, Captain and Tenille and many more! Paws and Listen enjoys performing at local events in the community and on the University's campus.

Jam Brunch: LexJam Acoustic Cafe Open jam session. Rock, blues, pop, country, jazz, ambient. Basics provided (drum kit, congas, keyboard, guitar and bass amps, sound system.) On-stage group evolves as players/vocalists are invited to sign-in and sit in. If you have charts, bring them!
Acoustic set from 11am-1pm.

Mindy Smith With an angelic voice and songs full of faith, grace and vulnerability, Mindy Smith has been embraced by critics and fans alike with each recording she unveils.
The world first discovered Mindy Smith in 2004 with the release of her debut, One Moment More featuring the hit single "Come To Jesus" which inspired critics and artists to sing her praises. She has been featured on NPR, performed on national TV shows such as The Tonight Show, Conan O'Brien, GAC/Edge of Country and CMT. Her songs have been heard on shows such as "Grey's Anatomy," "Smallville," "Six Feet Under", and Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance."
