Tuesday Nov 30th @ 9pm Screen Door Porch
Screen Door Porch The duo of Screen Door Porch--Seadar Rose and Kentucky native Aaron Davis--deliver groove-injected Alt-Folk and soulful Americana that is not quite acoustic. From stripped-down acoustic songs to lush electric tones, this Jackson Hole, Wyoming band brings an assortment of instrumentation--acoustic & electric guitars, mandolin, banjo, harmonica, even using an old suitcase for a kick drum. According to The Austin Chronicle, "...a combination that goes down like top-shelf bourbon."

After extensive touring through the southeast, Screen Door Porch returns to Lexington this fall for their 4th show in 2 years. Come see what Americana UK praises as "a shrewd alt-folk pairing - honest soulful music true to its Americana Roots."

Saturday Dec 4th @ 8pm The Bats
The Bats Bringing together the eight diverse talents known as The Bats has netted a genre that can best be described as cabaret meets rock and roll. .. and everything in between. The five feisty women and three very brave men of this distinctive group embrace many musical styles with the material ranging from comical to poignant. They sing of love lost and found, the joys and stings of growing older, and of life's best and worst moments. Whether covering other artists' songs or singing their own original tunes, the common denominator is tight vocal harmonies, skillful musicianship, wit and sophistication, energy and creativity ... with props and choreography thrown in for good measure. They sing, they dance, they yodel ..and they're real good lookin'.
In total the "Bats experience" is unique, smart, fun, lively, refreshing, and most of all entertaining.
