The contest is a partnership with the apparel company Make Yourself Necessary to inspire people to go out and do just that: "make yourself necessary." Kentucky filmmakers, and non-filmmakers were asked to chose an individual or business to highlight in a five-minute video that shows the great things they are doing in their local communities.
