Of pies and men… Sounds too broad?
Our Thanksgiving holiday surprise IS broad!
It covers almost everything: time travel and secret cooking recipes, evolution and romance, voyeur/exhibitionism, and death of western civilization… and all of this with a touch of existentialism, pragmatism, heaps of Shakespeare, and utter hilarity.
The authorship this time is broad as well – locally written and world famous are blended smoothly together, leaving you wondering why is LOCAL not WORLD Famous … yet!
All secrets are revealed in the end, of course.
For now, let us put you in the holiday spirit as you dine, while Surprise theatre entertains you with spirited and light-hearted playfulness steeped with shock and awe … something we all can use this year.

Herald-Leader:
Behind the Scenes with "Surprise Theatre"
“Surprise Theatre” is the
culmination of the “intimate theatre” idea
that developed over three years of
doing theatre at Natasha’s. One-act plays
hidden in restaurant service with no
advertisement of story or cast, intending to
“spring up” suddenly during an evening of
dining taking their audience off guard
first occurred in July 2005
